Training Curriculum:

Our training program is either 7 days or 14 days duration. The 7 day program does not offer any guarantees, any future training will need to be completed in the 14 day program. The 14 day program will provide a training guarantee and refresher training sessions will be available at no charge, with the expectation the owners will do everything to their capability to reinforce and not deviate from the training. And trust me…I can tell! Client understands that training is on-going and long term and the client must be consistent and patient, reinforcing training daily. 

Training will be done throughout the day in every aspect of the dogs schedule. We follow a daily schedule of feeding, treats, training, playtime, etc. We will be going out in multiple public places. Your dogs safety, public safety and mine and my families safety is first priority, and every effort will be made to ensure everyone’s safety. 

The following boundaries, commands and manners will be taught:

Our Training consist of multiple forms of training techniques based on your dogs learning styles.

We do use a training collar in certain situations. We use the Educator E-collar, which has a muscle stimulation mode, tone mode and vibration mode. The Educator E-Collar is not a SHOCK collar, and the technology is used daily for medical issues in chiropractic, physical therapy and medical offices. If it is determined that your dog would best benefit from the use of a training collar, your Training Provider will discuss this with you and you will be taught the proper way to use the collar before the dog returns home. 

 

You will receive daily videos of your dogs progress. I encourage you to watch these videos multiple times and share with anyone that is with your dog on a regular basis. These videos are unedited and real life. We do not manipulate the videos so that you see your dog performing appropriately. I show everything! I use these videos as a teaching tool for you to use once your dog goes home and I explain a lot during these videos so please use them accordingly. In addition, these videos will show you that your dog is well taken care of, healthy and happy! If you see anything in the videos that concern you, please contact me immediately. For example, I trained a 5 mth German Shephard puppy once that seemed to have a slight limp, I had not noticed it as it appeared to me how the dog walked as a lot of Shepherds do. The owner noticed it in the video, contacted me and we made a vet appointment to which they found out the puppy had dysplasia in it’s shoulder. The owner had not noticed the limp before, and it only became recognizable in the video… so PLEASE, if you see anything, let me know!!

At the time of pickup, please set aside a minimum of 3 hours for us to go over the dogs training, and ensure you know what is expected and are comfortable reinforcing the training at home. Watching and learning the things I show in the videos will help make this process a lot simpler. 

 

Also, finally, please know I will fall madly in love with your dog, and will create a bond with your dog. Your dog will become a part of my family and I will continue to check on your dog in the future. I will be available for the duration of your dogs life to help you or him / her to fix any problems that may arise in the future. It is NEVER a bother for you to contact me to ask questions. It’s more of a bother to me when you don’t! I want you and your dog to have the best, happiest, fulfilled life possible and anything I can do to help you achieve that, I am honored to do so. I love getting text, phone calls, pictures, Christmas cards, etc. of your dog so never hesitate!
